Council for Life
Celebrating Life Luncheon
A Legacy of Love and Life
For 25 years, Council for Life has stood as a steadfast voice for the unborn, answering God’s call to build a legacy of love and life that continues to shape our community for generations to come. Though the overturning of Roe v. Wade marked a significant turning point, the work before us remains urgent. Each day, vulnerable women and families face difficult and unexpected circumstances, and they need truth, compassion and hope more than ever.
The Celebrating Life Luncheon is both a celebration and a powerful call to action, bringing our community together to support life-affirming organizations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. These organizations are the hands and feet of God, offering compassionate care, hope and tangible resources to women and families facing unplanned pregnancies.
Join us as we honor the legacy that Council for Life has built and let us step boldly into the future. Together, we can ensure that every life is welcomed, every mother is supported and God’s love is made known in the moments that matters most.

Honorary Chairs
Ann and David Carruth
Council for Life is honored to recognize Ann and David Carruth as our 2026 Honorary Chairs.
In 2001, Ann—alongside ten faithful friends—responded to God’s calling to take a stand for life. At a time when millions of abortions had already occurred, and countless more were to come, the issue was often left unspoken, its moral weight unexamined, and the needs of women overlooked. With courage and conviction, they began a movement rooted in truth, compassion and the belief that women deserve better choices and lasting support.
As we celebrate Council for Life’s 25th Anniversary, we are deeply grateful to honor Ann and David, whose faithfulness and leadership helped lay the foundation for a legacy that continues to impact lives for generations.
Our Mission
Council for Life is motivated by Christ-like love and responsive compassion. We are committed to raising public awareness of the complex issues that surround unplanned pregnancies and providing financial support to agencies that share our mission. We celebrate Life in all we do.

“Not only has the opportunity to partner with Council for Life met our expectations but this partnership has far exceeded what we as a PRC have been able to do.
Thank you for leading the way in building a culture of Life in North Texas.”
